GreaseDesk Affiliate Terms

Version 2026-11-01 · effective 2026-11-01

GreaseDesk Affiliate Terms

These are the terms you accept when you join the GreaseDesk affiliate programme at affiliates.greasedesk.com. They cover what you earn, when you are paid, and how you may promote GreaseDesk.

1. About these terms

  1. These terms are between you and GreaseDesk Ltd (company number 17312623, Unit 7 Tinsley Street, Tipton, England, DY4 7LH) ("GreaseDesk", "we").
  2. You accept them when you tick the box and complete signup. They apply from that moment until the agreement ends under section 9.
  3. You are an independent introducer. You are not our employee, agent or partner, and you cannot make promises or sign anything on our behalf. You decide how, when and where you promote GreaseDesk. There are no minimum introductions, quotas or targets, and we do not direct your methods, other than the rules in section 8.
  4. The affiliate programme is separate from the GreaseDesk reseller (rep) programme, which has its own agreement.

2. Joining

  1. You must be 18 or over and able to receive payment into a UK bank account.
  2. You join with your name, email address and mobile number. We confirm the mobile with a text code and the email with a link. Payouts are only made once both are confirmed.
  3. One account per person. You may not hold a second account under another name or address.
  4. On joining you receive a personal referral code, a link that carries it, and a QR code of that link. Your code is yours alone; you may not sell, transfer or share it as your own business's code.
  5. We may refuse an application, or ask for more information before approving one.

3. What you earn

You earn up to £120 for every garage you introduce, with no limit on how many garages.

Garage paysYou earnWhen it counts
Monthly£30 for each of its first 4 paid months (£120 maximum)Each month, once that month's invoice is paid
Annually, up front£120 in one amountOnce the annual invoice is paid
  1. "Paid month" means an invoice the garage actually paid. Trial months, free months and unpaid invoices earn nothing.
  2. The maximum per garage is £120, however long it stays or however it pays. A garage that switches from monthly to annual never takes you past £120.
  3. If a garage leaves, you keep what its paid months already earned. Nothing is clawed back except under section 6 (refunds).
  4. Amounts are what you receive. They are not wages and carry no holiday pay, pension or benefits.

4. What the garage gets

  1. A garage that signs up with your code or link gets its first year at 12 months for the price of 8: £600 instead of £750 per site, on the annual plan. Every plan starts with a 30-day trial before anything is charged.
  2. The offer is fixed for that garage at the moment it signs up. A later change to our offer does not change it.
  3. The offer covers the first year only. Renewal is at our standard price at the time.
  4. You may quote these figures exactly as they appear on our price page. You may not offer the garage anything extra on our behalf, such as further discounts or free months.

5. How introductions are credited

  1. A garage is credited to you when, at signup, it types your code or arrives through your link.
  2. A typed code always wins. If the garage types a code, that code is credited, whatever link it arrived by.
  3. If no code is typed, the first affiliate link the garage followed in the previous 90 days is credited. This relies on a cookie that is only set if the visitor accepts functional cookies; if they refuse, only a typed code can credit you.
  4. Credit is decided at signup and recorded against the garage. It is not changed later because someone else also talked to them.
  5. A garage already in a GreaseDesk trial or subscription, or one that signed up before your introduction, cannot be credited to you.
  6. If two people claim the same garage, our records of what was presented at signup decide it.

6. When and how you're paid

  1. Each reward is held for 14 days after the garage's payment clears, so a refund has time to appear. After that it becomes payable.
  2. Payable rewards are paid by bank transfer in a monthly payout run on the Friday nearest the 15th of each month. The minimum payout is £100; a smaller balance carries forward to the next run. When this agreement ends, or we close the programme, any balance you are owed is paid in full in the next payout run, whatever its size. The first payouts are in December 2026.
  3. We can only pay once you have given us bank details and confirmed your email address. Rewards wait, and are not lost, until you do.
  4. Who receives the money. You may choose to be paid yourself, or nominate another person to receive your rewards. You may not nominate the garage you introduced, its owners or its staff.
  5. Refunds. If we refund a garage's payment in full, the reward that payment earned is cancelled. If it has already been paid to you, we deduct it from your future rewards only. We will not ask you to repay it, unless it was earned through fraud or in breach of section 7. A partial refund, such as a goodwill gesture, leaves the reward unchanged.
  6. Chargebacks. If a garage's bank reverses a payment, that payment's reward is treated as a full refund.
  7. Your dashboard shows each reward as earned, held, payable or paid, with dates. If you think something is missing, tell us within 90 days of the garage's payment.

7. Who you can't earn on

You earn nothing on a garage that:

  • you own, part-own or are a director or partner of;
  • employs you, or that you work for under contract;
  • is owned by your spouse, partner or a member of your household;
  • you introduced by creating its account yourself, or by signing up on its behalf without its knowledge.

If we find a reward was earned this way, we cancel it and may end the agreement under section 9. Where it was earned through fraud or a deliberate breach of this section, we may also recover any amount already paid to you.

8. How you promote GreaseDesk

  1. Label it as an ad. UK advertising rules require affiliate content to be clearly identified as advertising. Put "#ad" at the start of the post, caption or video description, and say it out loud in a video. This applies wherever you post: video, text, social media or email.
  2. Be accurate. Quote prices and offers exactly as they appear on our website. Don't claim features GreaseDesk doesn't have, invent testimonials, or say you work for GreaseDesk.
  3. Public channels and in person only. Promote GreaseDesk only through your own public channels (such as videos, posts and your website) and in conversation, face to face. You may reply to someone who has asked you about GreaseDesk. Do not send marketing emails, texts or other electronic messages about GreaseDesk to anyone, whether a person or a business, and do not use bought lists, automated messaging or fake reviews.
  4. Our name and paid search. GreaseDesk is a trade mark of GreaseDesk Ltd. You may use the name to describe our product, but not in a way that suggests you are GreaseDesk or speak for it. You may not bid on "GreaseDesk" or close misspellings in paid search ads, register domains or social accounts using our name, or present yourself as GreaseDesk.
  5. Nothing misleading or harmful. No promotion alongside illegal, hateful or adult content, and nothing that would embarrass the garages who use us.
  6. You are responsible for what you publish. If we ask you to change or remove something that breaks this section, do so within 7 days.
  7. If you fail to label content as advertising, or send electronic marketing in breach of 8.3, we may end the agreement immediately, and you agree to cover any fines, costs or losses we reasonably incur as a direct result.

9. Suspension and ending the agreement

  1. You can leave at any time by emailing us. Rewards already earned are still paid as they become payable.
  2. We can suspend your code if we reasonably believe you have broken these terms. From the date of suspension: no new garages are credited to your code, no new garage gets the offer through it, and nothing new is earned. Garages already credited keep their price, and rewards already earned are not reversed, unless they were earned in breach of section 7 or 8.
  3. We will tell you why we suspended you, and you can respond. We may lift the suspension or end the agreement.
  4. We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice for any reason, or immediately for a serious breach such as fraud, electronic marketing in breach of 8.3, unlabelled advertising or misleading promotion.
  5. When the agreement ends, stop using your code and link. Rewards earned fairly before the end are still paid; nothing is earned afterwards.
  6. We may close the programme to new members at any time. Closing it does not end existing agreements.

10. Changes to these terms

  1. We give at least 30 days' notice by email of any change to these terms, including the reward amounts or the garage offer.
  2. A change applies only from the date it takes effect. It never reduces a reward already earned, and never changes the offer a garage already signed up on.
  3. If you don't accept a change, you can leave before it takes effect (section 9.1). Staying in the programme after that date means you accept it.

11. Tax, data, liability and law

  1. Tax. You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax on your rewards. We can't advise you on it. If you are VAT-registered, tell us before your first payout, and invoice us with VAT for each payout.
  2. Your data. We hold your name, contact details, bank details and referral records to run the programme and pay you, as described in our privacy notice. Bank details are stored encrypted and seen only by those who make payouts.
  3. Garages' data. Your dashboard shows each garage you introduced by name and status only. You receive no access to any garage's account or customer data.
  4. Liability. We are not liable for indirect losses or lost income. Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the greater of the rewards owed to you and the rewards paid to you in the 12 months before your claim. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for breach of statutory duty, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
  5. Whole agreement. These terms, and the figures shown on the affiliate site when you joined or after a change under section 10, are the whole agreement between us.
  6. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts decide any dispute.
